MERLOT

Region:

Rapel Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Merlot
Production Technique: The grapes are harvested in April when the ripeness of the fruit, the polyphenolic balance, and the intensity of the color are at their best. 30% of the wine is aged in medium-toasted French oak.
Characteristics: Color: Ruby-red with violet reflections.
Bouquet: Fruit-forward, with plum, currant, and spice notes.
Taste: Elegant and dry, with black-fruit flavors and spice.
Alcohol content: 13.2%
Total acidity: 3.14 g/l.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Region:

Rapel Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Production Technique: The fermentation occurs in stainless-steel tanks of medium capacity, which allow a good extraction of color and varietal flavors. 35% of the wine is aged in medium-toasted French oak. After four months of aging, the wine is fined with gelatine, filtered, and cold stabilized. It is bottled early to retain all the fruit and aromas.
Characteristics: Color: Deep red.
Bouquet: Complex, with cherry and currant aromas.
Taste: Rich, silky, with black-cherry flavors and vanilla notes.
Alcohol content: 13.2%
Total acidity: 3.22 g/l.
Walnut Crest Cabernet Sauvignon is a silky, full-bodied red wine. A pleasing complement to any hearty meal, particularly roasts, stews, prime rib and strong cheeses. Serve at room temperature.

CHARDONNAY

Region:

Central Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Production Technique: 75% of the wine is fermented in stainless-steel tanks. 25% is fermented in medium-toasted French oak. 5% of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation.
Characteristics: Color: Lemony yellow
Bouquet: Ripe with fruit, buttery nuances and vanilla
Taste: Notes of passion fruit, vanilla, sweet cream, and ripe bananas.
Alcohol content: 13.3%
Total acidity: 5.97 g/l.

SHIRAZ

Region:

Rapel Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Shiraz
Production Technique: The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 7 days. 30% of the wine is fermented in French and American oak, providing a pleasing touch of vanilla, cinnamon, and clove.
Characteristics: Color: Deep cherry red with tinges of purple.
Bouquet: Hints of plum, jam and spice.
Taste: Spicy black berry, plum and pepper.
Alcohol content: 13.7%
Total acidity: 3.37 g/l.

SAUVIGNON BLANC

Region:

Mulchen Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Production Technique: The grapes are harvested early in the vintage to keep all the citrus aromas and herbaceous taste. The use of special yeasts to boost the varietal aromas and the cold fermentation of very clean must provide the intensity and the power of the Sauvignon Blanc.
Characteristics: Color: Very pale yellow.
Bouquet: Fragrant, with citrus and herbaceous aromas.
Taste: Crisp, fresh, with pear and lemon flavors.
Alcohol content: 12.5%
Total acidity: 5.7 g/l.

PINOT GRIGIO

Region:

Provincia Pavia, Italy
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Grigio
Production Technique: Grapes are harvested from the middle to the end of August. They are pressed softly and the fermentation is slow, under controlled temperature for about 10 days with partial malolactic fermentation.
Characteristics: Color: White with light-gold reflections.
Bouquet: Fesh citrus with a hint of cream.
Taste: Crisp, with lemon, pear, and some vanilla.
Alcohol content: 12.0%
Total acidity: 5.15 g/l.
Refreshing, crisp, and fruit forward. Walnut Crest Pinot Grigio is an excellent accompaniment to shellfish, seafood, and light pastas. This wine is also perfect as an aperitif. Serve chilled.

WHITE ZINFANDEL

Region:

Central Valley, California
Grape Variety: Zinfandel
Production Technique: Fermented cold over a period of 12 days at 53°F in stainless steel. The Zinfandel is harvested in mid-to-late August at an average sugar level of 18.5 brix.
Characteristics: Color: Berry/blush.
Bouquet: Fresh, fruity.
Taste: Soft, delicious, fruity, and refreshing.
Alcohol content: 10%
Total acidity: 0.64 g/l
